Maintenance

Ongoing care once the build is in. Lawns, plants and trees kept healthy, overgrowth and disease headed off before they turn into a replant. The point of maintaining a yard we designed is that we already know why everything is where it is, what the drainage does and which plants were chosen for which spot.

Softscaping

The planting side. Shrubs, trees and flowers that soften the hard edges and give the space texture and colour through the season. Drought-tolerant selections where they make sense, because the real test of an Okanagan yard is what it still looks like in the third week of August with watering restrictions on.

Landscape lighting

Lighting picks out the trees, stone and water you already paid for and makes the space usable after the sun drops behind the hill. Planned in with the design so the cable goes in while the beds are open, rather than stapled to a fence afterwards.
